Strida folding bicycles.
Newport velodrome.
Firefox 3, whose “Reopen tabs from last session” functionality allowed me to recreate 2 hours of prep work in 10 minutes after my system locked up. Not only did it re-open the tabs, it re-populated the forms on the pages with all my custom changes. I nearly wept for joy. Safari remembered my tabs, but not my form modifications. Now I know what I’ll be counting on for that sort of thing.
Gmail’s IMAP implementation, which remaps “Delete” as “Remove from Inbox/Label” except in Spam/Trash where it actually deletes. Seems incongruous but it makes a lot of sense to me (Gmail’s philosophy being that “archive” is the new “delete”). Moving a message to a label “folder” just adds that label to the message, and there is a special “Starred” folder.
My new Ruger Mark III Hunter 22/45, which makes trips to the range a lot more affordable. It looks like something from a 1960’s sci-fi flick.

Mark, are you comparing Trader Joe’s to a ‘normal’ supermarket, to Wal-Mart, or to other organic markets like Whole Foods/Wild Oats?

Elaine,
I wish I shared your enthusiasm for CSS.
That said, I’ll go out on a limb and say Javascript is awesome.
Your use of “blow goats.” That saying needs resurrecting, badly.
rsync.net is awesome.

Don’t forget sleeping over 6 hours, even if it’s once a year.
Let’s see:
Sigur Ros, whose tracks tried to save my life on a really bad Thursday; but then my life expired anyway. Well, that’s how life goes.
Tellaro, where I’ve been the latest weekend and where I enjoyed myself as much as I could.
Bang!, which I have just learned to play, but that didn’t prevent me to immediately check for national championships.
Crossword puzzles.
No computer-related stuff. That’s interesting.
Mint Mingles, Joss Whedon, Batman, Quebec City, and 5 weeks vacation a year.
